Will is a sweetheart and he is great with Annie, but it was Annie who made this story for me. She can come off as juvenile sometimes, but there are a lot of little things I liked about her character. She surprised me many times, when she said or did something I didn't expect, and she can be really funny. Iam convinced dating was created by an evil villain to torturehumanity. Dramatic? Not in the least. For introverts like me withsocial anxiety, the process of dating is equivalent to waxing your bikini line. Menstrual cramps on day two of your cycle. An emergency dental procedure you weren’t expecting—and guess what:they’re fresh out of novocaine. I clench the fabric of my dress under the table. I do have a hobby—but even my sisters don’t know about it, so I sure as crap am not going to share it with this man who looks like spending time with me is causing him physical discomfort. The MMC was generic and boring. Being tattooed, ex military, and emotionally unavailable doesn't automatically make him an interesting love interest. And honestly, there's no way in hell this man who is well-traveled and 'super hot', who has dated models around the world and jumped out of airplanes, is going to fall for such a lame FMC. It doesn't make sense. The banter, the tension just everything in this book was fantastic and I cannot wait to read more from Sarah. . . A new favourite romance read that will have you grinning from start to end.'⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Maybe this story would have worked if it had been a YA book, but for a romance book dealing with 30+ adults, it just didn't. I mean, Adams could not have written their dialogue any better. I was just instantly hooked by these two who were instantly hooked by each other. the dedication alone is everything: ”this one is for the softies. the tenderhearted sweeties. the introverts who are afraid to shine.” already sobbing 🥹🥹Sarah is my all time favorite comfort author, i absolutely adore every book of hers that i’ve read and this time was no different! i seriously cannot remember the last time i had this much fun with reading a book 🥹

i have to start this with my heart is actually SO fulfilled that we got such insanely good cameos of amelia, noah and all of my favorite people from when in rome. like god bless you sarah for that because i am still so obsessed with Amelia/Noah that i would read about them grocery shopping if she put it out into the world 😂 Right,” he says blandly because I’ve once again shut down any conversational avenues. Why am I like this? I need to talk. Ask him questions! Why can’t I think of any? My brain is a whiteboard, polished clean. The story? PERFECT. the couple? AMAZING. the tension?! INCREDIBLE. Honestly this was one of my favorites from Sarah Adams. . .THIS WAS EVERYTHING.' ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ It seems to me, Annie, that you are just waiting for someone to give you permission to be yourself out loud” I think this bled into another aspect I didn’t like. I want my female main characters to be feisty and be able to stand up for themselves. But she needs to do it for her, and it needs to be driven BY HER… Why is it that this man that she's with is the first person to see who she is and the first person that she can “actually” talk to, WHEN SHE IS SO CLOSE TO HER FAMILY, I wanted her to find herself, and not meet a man as the catalyst to find herself. I'm all for woman empowerment and not being rescued. And it felt like she could only be her true self when she found a guy! And wasn’t able to be herself without him.

I don’t think I like the word regret. Every choice I’ve made had been valuable in some way or other.” Small town romances are usually hit or miss for me because sometimes you end up loving the side characters more. In this case, I enjoyed the main characters but some of the side characters were questionable at first (Annie’s sisters felt like the only mean girls in the beginning) but they redeemed themselves. Also, do small towns really have the biggest gossipers?? They were really on Annie’s ass here lol Trust yourself. You said you wanted flowers — let's get your damn flowers, Annie." (Key word trust yourself) You can always count on a Sarah Adams rom-com to be equal parts funny, sweet, and swoony’ SOPHIE SULLIVAN

It’s books like these that make me feel like any review is just inadequate to capture my feelings and love for the characters. It seems to me, Annie, that you are just waiting for someone to give you permission to be yourself out loud.” honorable mention to how will legit took pictures of her all the time secretively because he thought she was beautiful and deserved to have good pictures of herself😭bikini line. Menstrual cramps on day two of your cycle. An emergency dental procedure you weren’t expecting—and guess what:they’re fresh out of novocaine. It was deliciously romantic. Kind of like watching a 90s rom-com but with still it having the magic of being a book.' ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ it seems to me, annie, that you are just waiting for someone to give you permission to be yourself out loud.” Please be aware that the delivery time frame may vary according to the area of delivery - the approximate delivery time is usually between 1-2 business days.

I wish I could text my sisters right now and ask them what to do. But that requires them actually knowing I’m on a date, which would open me up to the sort of attention I’ve been trying to avoid. But finding her dream man may be harder than Annie imagined. Everyone knows everyone in her hometown, and the dating prospects are getting fewer by the day. it’s like sarah adams crawled into my mind and wrote this character based off of my life and my experiences bc wow do i relate. it is beyond frustrating when everyone thinks they know you, when they try to tell you who you are. as if they know better. I would elaborate, but now the only thing swirling around my brain is the reproductive cycle of flowers (which I find deeply fascinating), but I have a distinct feeling that John is not the type to marvel at life science. So I clamp my mouth shut again. Florist Annie Walker is determined to find someone who complements her life. But after overhearing her latest date describe her as ‘so unbelievably boring’, Annie wonders if the problem might be her. Is it too late to become flirtatious and fun like the leading ladies in her favourite romance movies? Maybe she only needs some practice . . . and Annie has the perfect tutor in mind.
