Those using electric mixers such as this one for the first time will likely discover that the way they mix ingredients changes, because recipes sometimes like to unnecessarily combine specific ingredients incrementally to make it easier for the person mixing by hand. As if all that wasn't enough, the mixer also comes with a cook book with all sorts of recipes suitable for everyone - from first time bakers to experienced cooks. I went off to pick my wife from work, went swimming and got back about 2 hours later and it was ready to roll out and use. Our mains gripes were that it didn't pick up very small quantities, that it failed to whisk one egg white, and how it was very noisy in use.I just got it last week have not used it yet but I hope it will work well,besides I was encouraged by the many good reviews I read about it. Tried out the mini processor bowl that sits in the bigger bowl to make pesto which is perfect and very powerful.

It has a comprehensive range of accessories and I regularly use even those I thought would gather dust at the back of the cupboard! I was also a bit concerned reading the instructions saying that you shouldn't mix for more than 2 minutes of a time to avoid overheating which is not particularly useful but I haven't experienced this yet.Well, I've owned this since November 2014, and today i've just thrown away the last 2 parts, the hand blender and the cup.

I know that it was my fault for placing something wet on the base unit, but the new food processor now has a sealed base unit so that the same problem doesn't happen, where as this Andrew James product is very open and you can see right through to the electrics inside.
