Mafia Mistress” features certain favorite tropes that fans of the book like to read: age gap, mafia, and kidnapping. Fausto and Frankie are an absolutely explosive couple and it’s not possible to fully express in words how off the charts their chemistry is here. This was unexpectedly quite a nice read with some strong sexual chemistry between Fausto and Frankie. For those that like heroes that are just a little cruel and very filthy, heroines that are feisty, and enough heat, then welcome this twisted world of Mila’s. Don’t say that you weren’t forewarned! His family, years of work, almost his life, too, are all stolen from Enzo. It took him four years to rebuild his entire empire, while in secret, he plotted, planning to make them all suffer just like he did. When a perfect weapon falls into his lap, who is he to say no to that? Except Gia does not appear to mind a single bit of his darkness. Instead she likes it, and even welcomes it. The only thing I thought was missing was, that one of the characters had a very traumatic childhood, which also impacts his present views of himself, and I wish that we could´ve seen him heal from this trauma, or at least see him talk to someone he trusted. I think I'll also settle for a 3.5 for this one. I look forward to get to Giulio's book at some point he's one of my favorite characters from the series.

It was so slow at times but thankfully the overall story overshadowed it. Fausto’s son Guilio was a fab character and his friendship with Francesca was just as good as it was in the previous book. His relationship with his father also evolved and the final couple of chapters showed it beautifully. Ms. Finelli has done it again!! This was FANTASTIC. I really enjoyed books 1-3 and was anxiously awaiting this one and it did NOT disappoint! Mila has built such an incredible mafia world that flows seamlessly from book to book. It was so fun to see the whole cast of characters from previous books and see how they all interact with each other. Now a new man is stalking me, watching me. But there's something else in his eyes, a hunger that sets me on fire. He's rough and dangerous, all the things I crave in the dark.What did this story an injustice was 95% of it took place on a yacht in the middle of the ocean and I expected much more action in Enzo's book and it's such a shame because the author establishes her mfia world so well. I think Enzo and Gia should've gotten a duet.
Giulio was once heir to the biggest mafia empire in Europe, his father is Fausto (the hero of books 1 and 2) and we saw why and when Giulio fled from his family’s home in the previous books. Giulio has been kind of on the run since, after not being accepted by some of the heads of families in their mafia world because of his sexuality and he’s been wanting to make his own way since. Alessio is a sniper assassin who was hired to take out Giulio but can’t seem to pull the trigger when he has him in his sights. So we see Alessio following his target, Giulio all around Europe and their very lust-filled infatuation with one another. They decide on a temporary truce for one month to enjoy one another!

Mafia Darling was amazing and concluded Francesca and Fausto’s story very well. I’m definitely going to continue. I enjoy a villain getting a story and perhaps redeeming himself so I can’t wait to read Enzo’s book.
